Vac Truck Operator
Responsibilities:
- Operates vacuum units and associated equipment in a safe, responsible and professional manner.
- Participates in all pre-job hazard assessments and inspections prior to commencing any job.
- Ensures proper load securement of any hoses, chemical pails or other equipment.
- Supplying a safe, effective and professional service to our clients.
- Driving and operating Vac units.
- Completing tasks associated with daylighting excavation, trenching and shoring.
- Rigging equipment in and out.
- Performing pre and post trip inspections.
- Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience Vacuum Truck Operating.
- Must possess a minimum CDL A or B license; with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, to include occasional nights and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
- Responsible for knowledge of DOT rules and regulations and all company, state, and federal requirements.
- Maintain accurate work tickets based on the work requirements and work performed for the customer.
- Maintain accurate driving log books and pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Good communicator and well developed interpersonal skills
